Best Practices in Tutor Training Manual (LVQ) – This manual includes a recommended guideline for delivering the ideal basic tutor training workshop. It also includes material presented during the round table, best practices submitted by the members and a tutor training material resource section.
LVQ has strived to create a resource directory that reflects prevention activities and initiatives in the Quebec English literacy community.

Finding legal information and then understanding the legal language can prove to be a challenge for many individuals, especially for individuals with weak literacy skills. Literacy tutors can use this manual to help students understand some basic legal concepts. Students will learn how to access legal information more easily and will then be better able to make informed decisions about issues affecting their lives.
